PRE MARITAL COUNSELLING

PRE MARITAL COUNSELLING  The women Development Cell ,KMCT Arts and Science College kuttippuram in association with IQAC and CCMY Valanchery organized PATHWAY –Social Life Wellness Program in the part of Pre Marital Counselling for the Minority Students under GOVT. Of Kerala Directorates Of Minority Welfare on 9/01/2023 to 11/01/2023. The program was conducted in three days , inauguration was the first session of the program ,it was on 9/01/2023 at 10.30am . Mrs. Shahana T WDC co- ordinator gave welcome speech and Principal of KMCT Arts and Science college Mr.Shamsudheen MT gave presidential addressand Mrs. Vaseema veleri Block Panchayath President Kuttippuram Inaugurated the program. Prof .KP. Hassan Principal,CCMY Valanchery gave detail explanation about the three day pre marital counselling camp. Felicitation was given by vice principal of KMCT College Of Pharmacy Mr. Shamnas .M. after the session vote of thanks was given by WDC Coordinator Mrs Suja S .almost around 45 students actively participated in the session. In this 45 students 35 students were minority students and other 10 were from other category . the first session of Day 1 handled by Mr Abdul fathah ,the session is about introduction ,marriage for social wellness. Effective communication skills for couples and healthy online communication was the second session and it handled by mrs .shaima . day second start at 10.00 am and the first session is about effective management of in law relationships and conflict resolution techniques ,the session was taken by Mrs. Muneera. K .Mrs jumana was taken the second session of the day .the topic was infant and adolescent parenting skills, sex education and pregnancy .the last day of the program was on 11/01/2023. The session was started at 9.30 am.legal and religousaspects of marriage was the topic of first session. ADV. shamsudheen was the resource person .the second session of the day was about family budgeting class was handled by Mr shafeeq.it was an effective program to the students. after the session at 4.30pm valedictory function were started. Social work department HOD Mrs Greeshma .S gave welcome speech .and college program coordinator Mr.Nisfar C gave presidential address .Mr Shamsudheen MT principal of KMCT Arts and Science College Kuttippuram inaugurated the session and gave Certficates to the participants .WDC Coordinator Mrs Shahana T gave vote of thanks. The three day program gave values and ideas for the students about marriage and marital life. Undoubtedly it was an effective session for the students .
